Beneath the lush shades of Dafu Mountain Forest Park in Panyu, Guangzhou, the public welfare event “Flying Childhood · Migrant Children Joyful Square” brightened children’s faces. Meticulously organized by Star Family, the activity gathered more than 30 migrant children — youngsters who relocate to the city with their working parents — along with their mothers. The term “migrant children” carries warmth along with a touch of drifting uncertainty. These children come from migrant worker families and settle in the bustling city of Guangzhou. Faced with unfamiliar languages, new cultural environments and limited playmates, their childhood calls for extra care and support. Fully aware of their needs, Star Family launched this event at Dafu Mountain Forest Park to build a stage for these children to showcase themselves and feel sincere warmth.
